Megan Kight is one of the three founding partners of Broyles Kight & Ricafort LLP.  Megan has been practicing law for seven years, and has acquired experience in a variety of areas.  Although she has extensive experience with business law, general litigation and family law, her practice has focused on immigration law for the past three years.

Megan has helped area entrepreneurs with all aspects of establishing new business ventures, provided litigation support in matters ranging from intellectual property disputes to the enforcement or defense of non-compete agreements to discrimination and sexual harassment claims, and represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a broad arena of litigation disputes, including insurance matters, personal injury cases, and medical malpractice.   

For the past three years, Megan has devoted her time almost exclusively to assisting foreign nationals with varied immigration issues, including identifying the appropriate nonimmigrant visa for foreign nationals to enter the United States, helping families reunite in the United States, assisting with the adjustment of status process through both employment and family, obtaining waivers of the foreign residence requirement, providing counsel and defense to those in removal proceedings, assisting those seeking asylum in the United States, procuring immigrant visas for those with extraordinary abilities in the arts, athletics, or science, obtaining waivers of bars to admissibility and grounds of excludability, and advising permanent residents about the benefits and risks of applying for naturalization and overcoming barriers to becoming a citizen.    

Megan graduated from DePauw University and received her law degree from the Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington.  She and her husband Andy are both natives of Indianapolis, and now live in Carmel with their two children.
