Often, a trial court’s final decision does not mean the end of the case. Obtaining the best possible result at trial means nothing if that result cannot be affirmed on appeal. Conversely, a defeat at the trial court level can turn into victory through a successful appeal.

A successful appeal requires a different set of knowledge and different tactics than a successful trial.  BKR’s Appellate Practice Group has broad experience handling appeals in the Indiana Supreme Court, the Indiana Court of Appeals, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit on a wide variety of subjects.
